FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR 1ST COMMUNION 

What is my child required to wear for 1st Communion?
Boys – White long sleeve dress shirt with slacks or khaki's (tie & coat optional) (No tennis shoes)

Girls  – White knee length, or longer dress and nice shoes (gloves & veils optional) Shoulders must be covered with a shrug if the dress does not cover.

What time do we have to be there?
Please report to the hall no later than 9:30am to take group picture and line up before Mass.

Do I have to pay the photographer?
No. We have hired a photographer. Your picture will be emailed to you to print on your own. Parents are not allowed to come forward or take pictures/video from your pew during Mass. This is very distracting and disrespectful.

What if we have a conflicting event for practice?
We will deal with each situation that arises as best we can to accommodate the best interest of the student.

Does this Mass meet my obligation for weekend Mass?
No, this Mass in on a Saturday morning.  For the Holy Mass to considered as the fulfillment of one's Sunday or holiday obligation, it must be a celebration of the liturgy (prayers, readings, Gospel) of the Sunday.

Religious Education (Confirmation)

1st through 7th Grade

Religion Schedule as follows:

  • Monday- 3rd, 4th, 5th grade – 6-7:30 pm

  • Tuesday-1st, 2nd grade – 6-7:30 pm

  • Wednesday – 6th, 7th – 6-7:30 pm

School uniform only for 1st-7th.
No phones allowed.

Confirmation students must wear modest church attire.

No car line on Tuesday nights for 1st & 2nd graders.
